not quite Veit Stoss

There must be a reason, why it is said, God created men from clay. After carving these big wooden figurines I found an answer for that and as always it was a wise decision. If he had been carved in wood – I propose – man would have turned out somewhat different. Of course there were masters, who had the gift of carving incredible beautiful wooden sculptures like Veit Stoss, a far ancestor of our family.

What would he say if he knew, what simple, primitive wooden figurines one of his descendants dares to carve? Figurines, that show weight and warmth of the material wood? Figurines, which are somewhat unfinished and come to life only through the act of the observer?
